Résumé The Proclamation provides under Part II for the appointment and duties of Collector of Customs and customs officers. Under Part III, custom control areas, the Proclamation gives power to the Governor, by order, to appoint and name as a port for the purpose of customs any area in the Falkland Islands specified in the order. The Governor may also, in any port from time to time, appoint boarding stations for the purpose of the boarding of or disembarkation from ships by customs officers.
