Entry into force notes
The present Regulations enter into force on 1 April 2012.
Résumé

The present Regulations are made under the Crown Minerals Act. In particular, the Regulations lay down provisions relating oil and gas royalties. Section 6 establishes that these Regulations apply to all oil and gas produced from or allocated to any Crown lands on or after 1 March 2012. The text consists of 70 sections divided into 10 Parts as follows: Preliminary matters (I); Conventional oil royalty (II); Conventional oil royalty incentive (III); Gas royalty incentive (IV); Gas royalty incentive (V); Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) Royalty (VI); Remittance (VII); Recovery of royalty (VIII); General (IX); Repeal, transitional and coming into force (X).
