Résumé: Member States shall prescribe that feedingstuffs intended for particular nutritional purposes might be marketed only if they fulfill the conditions and are labelled in accordance with this Directive. Special rules for the packaging of such products are set. On the container or on the label of the feedingstuffs must appear the expression 'dietetic' together with the description of the feedingstuff; the precise use, i.e. the particular nutritional purpose; the indication of the essential nutritional characteristics of the feedingstuffs; the recommended length of time for use of the feedingstuff.
