Résumé

The Governor-General may, by Proclamation, declare that waters (a) that are wholly within a distance of 5 nautical miles from, or from the limits, of an installation; or (b) that are wholly within a distance of 2 nautical miles from the limits of defence on which there is not an installation, are naval waters for the purposes of this Control of Naval Waters Act. The Governor-General may make regulations with respect to matters listed in section 4 for the purpose of control of naval waters. These Regulations specify powers of the Superintendent with respect to control of naval waters and regulate various matters of navigation such as mooring and anchoring and deposit of ballast and other waste.
