Access 1. Directed fishing shall not take place in Statistical Division 58.4.1 in 2021/22 for Dissostichus mawsoni. 2. This fishery shall be subject to the conditions in Conservation Measure 41-01, Annex 41-01/B. Catch limit 3. Without prejudice to paragraph 1, a precautionary catch limit of Dissostichus mawsoni in Statistical Division 58.4.1 in the 2021/22 season shall, on the basis of the trend analysis reported by the Scientific Committee, not exceed 583 tonnes as listed in the text. Season 4. For the purpose of the exploratory longline fishery for Dissostichus mawsoni in Statistical Division 58.4.1, the 2021/22 season is defined as the period from 1 December 2021 to 30 November 2022. Fishing operations 5. The exploratory longline fishery for Dissostichus mawsoni in Statistical Division 58.4.1 shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of Conservation Measure 41-01, except paragraph 6. By-catch 6. The by-catch in this fishery shall be regulated as set out in Conservation Measure 33-03. Mitigation 7. The exploratory longline fishery for Dissostichus mawsoni in Statistical Division 58.4.1 shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of Conservation Measure 25-02. 8. Any vessel catching a total of three (3) seabirds shall immediately change to night setting only (i.e. setting only during the hours of darkness between the times of nautical twilight).
