A new vector, an accelerator of sustainable development, should be the green economy, the main tools of which are innovative "green" technologies based on energy and resource conservation, reduction of carbon emissions, environmentally friendly production and transport, alternative energy sources, organic production, eco-development - construction with minimal impact on the environment. Transition to the principles of the green economy implies its development without prejudice to nature, increase of production efficiency through the preservation and increase of natural capital, reduction of toxic and carbon emissions, expansion of biodiversity, as well as improvement of the quality of environmental management system and environmental awareness of citizens, support of environmental well-being of the population.
