Résumé

This Complementary Law, consisting of 33 articles divided into six Chapters, authorizes the Executive Branch to create the land agency to manage the agrarian reform and land policy of the State of Rondônia, named the Land and Colonization Institute of the State of Rondônia (INTERON). This autonomous entity is endowed with legal personality and administrative and financial autonomy, headquartered in the State Capital and jurisdiction in all its territory linked to the Government. INTERON will be invested with powers of representation to promote the collection of vacant lands, the normalization and respective titling of urban and rural areas, as well as colonization projects, on lands owned by the State and those administered by force of disciplined federal collaboration by contracts, agreements or management agreement. The State shall promote, through INTERON, under the terms of the Regulation, the recognition of property titles that, for any reason, have doubts regarding its dominance, form and size as: I - enormous plots called sesmarias, and rubber plantations; II - possessions registered; III - records from formal sharing; and IV - bonds issued by other units of the Federation which, by territorial limits, are currently in the perimeter of the State of Rondônia.
