It, among other things: specifies conditions for export of bovine embryos to a EU Member State and import of bovine embryos from a EU Member State; provides for the approval and registration of embryo collection teams and embryo production teams and the approval of bovine embryo storage facilities; provides for the issue of animal health certificates; and sets out health rules for importation of embryos from a third country.
