This Regulation applies as from 15 July 2014.
Résumé

The present Regulation amends Regulation (EU) No. 142/2011 as regards the use of animal by-products and derived products as a fuel in combustion plants. In particular it replaces the text of article 6, relating to disposal by incineration, disposal or recovery by co-incineration and use as a fuel for combustion. Moreover Annex III is supplemented by inserting Chapter IV (General requirement for the use of animal by-products and derived products as a fuel) and Chapter V (Types of plants and fuels that may be used for combustion and specific requirements for particular types of plants).
