Entry into force notes: This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.

Résumé: This Regulation sets out the programme of controls to be carried out by Commission experts in the Member States in areas covered by Regulation (EU) 2017/625 for the period 2021-2025. The areas of the programme of controls include food and food safety; feed and feed safety; animal health; animal welfare; plant health; placing on the market and use of plant protection products and the sustainable use of pesticides; food quality; entry into the Union of animals and goods from third countries; AMR; and general aspects within the agri-food chain.
