Entry into force notes: This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union and shall apply from 1 September 2020.

Résumé: These provisions amend Regulation (EU) No. 649/2012 by replacing Annexes I and V. The amended Annex I lays down the list of chemicals that are subject to export notification procedure and qualifying for Prior Informed Consent notification. Moreover, the Annex II amends the Part 2 of Annex V of the Regulation (EU) No. 649/2012 by adding some chemicals other than persistent organic pollutants as listed in Annexes A and B to the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants.
