This Regulation applies from 1 January 2014.

Résumé

This Regulation applies to applications for support from the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF). In particular it identifies the period during which such applications submitted by operators who have carried out actions referred to in article 10(1)(a) and (b) of Regulation (EU) No. 508/2014, shall be inadmissible. Those actions regard (i) a serious infringement under article 42 of Council Regulation (EC) No. 1005/2008, and (ii) the operation, management or ownership of fishing vessels included in the European Union IUU vessel list of vessels flagged to countries identified as non-cooperating third countries.
