Commission Decision 2007/142/EC establishing a Community Veterinary Emergency Team to assist the Commission in supporting Member States and third countries in veterinary matters relating to certain animal diseases.

This Decision sets up a Community Veterinary Emergency Team and defines its role and tasks. The Team shall provide the European Commission as well as third countries with assistance in the veterinary field, particularly in the event of outbreak of animal diseases (those subject to notification pursuant to Annex I to Directive 82/894/EEC).
