The Decision shall apply from 1 May 2004.
Résumé

The present Decision has been adopted to supplement Decision 79/542/EEC as regards the animal health conditions and veterinary certification requirements to be met by certain products transiting or being temporarily stored in the Community. In particular, new article 12a (the text of which is laid down in article 1 hereto) establishes the conditions to be met by consignments of meat for human consumption, including minced meat, introduced into the Community and destined for a third country either by transit immediately or after storage, and not intended for importation into the Community. Annex III, laying down the transit and storage form as well as the model of the veterinary certificate, shall be added.
