Cooperative societies is an outfit which is popular with rural farmers. After registration, a cooperative society becomes a body corporate with perpetual succession and the ability to sue and be sued in its own name. The Law provides for the process of registering these societies, from the composition of members, steps of registration, conditions of registration and the legal effect of registration. The Law also provides for the duties and privileges of registered societies, and also provides for rules on dispute resolution. Texte intégral Anglais
