The purpose of this Plan is to promote, control and regulate the marketing and production of chickens and to constitute the Commodity Board to administer the Plan. The Board may: a) cooperate with any board or agency, established under any federal statute to market or promote, facilitate, control, regulate or prohibit the marketing or production of chickens; b) determine and fix fair or minimum prices at which chickens or any grade of chickens shall be bought by or sold to registered processors within the regulated area based on the recommendations from time to time of the Price Negotiating Committee.
