Résumé

The present Regulations enact the Natural Products Marketing Act. The Regulations lay down provisions relating to the raising of chicken. In particular, section 3 establishes that a person shall not engage in the raising and growing of chicken for commercial use in the province unless the commodity board has issued to him or her a registration number and a production licence, or he or she is a contract grower. The text – consisting of 16 sections – deals with the following aspects: restriction, effective period, production quota, marketing restrictions, production licence and quota, priority of producers, cancellation of transferred quota and inspection of premises.
