Résumé

These Regulations provide further for various matters relative to granting of an environmental clearance certificate by the Environmental Management Authority pursuant to section 36 of the Environmental Management Act, 2000. An application for a Certificate shall be in Form A. Where the Authority determines that an EIA is required it shall consult with the applicant on the Terms of Reference of such assessment and submit the draft terms to the applicant who may request modification. Regulation 7 concerns the granting of certificates. The Authority shall establish a National register of Certificates of Environmental Clearance (reg. 8), which may be accessed by the public (reg. 9). Further specifications for the carrying out of an EIA are given in regulation 10. (11 regulations)
