Résumé

These Regulations amend the Cattle Identification (Scotland) Regulations 2007 so as to implement Commission Regulation (EU) No. 1053/2010 amending Regulation (EC) No. 494/98 as regards administrative sanctions in cases of failure to prove the identification of an animal. An animal without identification and traceability, may, so as to reduce animal health and food safety risks, be ordered to be destroyed. The Regulations also provide with respect to inspectors and notification of death of an animal and subsequent return of the cattle passport or other identification documents to the Scottish Ministers.
