Résumé These Regulations amend regulation 3 which deals with the applying of second eartags to newborn animals. They extend the maximum allowed time for applying of an eartag to 30 days for animals born before 1 January 2000 and 30 days for animals born after that date. The Regulations also make a consequential amendment to regulation 13 to make it clear that the time limit for applying for a cattle passport runs from the date that the second tag is applied.
