A veterinary officer may, with respect to land within the area of his or her jurisdiction, may make Orders prescribing the maximum number of cattle that may be grazed on any particular area of land and the maximum number of cattle that any person may be permitted to graze on any particular area of land. Any cattle found illegally grazing on any land may be impounded either by the veterinary officer or by the district administration.
