The text- consisting of 31 sections – deals, inter alia, with the following matters: coordination of responsibilities of designated offices, cooperative environmental assessment coordination responsibilities, pre-notification and early notification, cooperative environmental assessments, determining lead party, Joint Assessment Committee, establishment of a working plan for the assessment, public participation, determination of completeness of the environmental assessment document, coordination of decisions and announcements; Joint Panel Tribunal, accommodating interests, transboundary considerations, consideration of aboriginal interests, class screenings and electricity projects, environmental screening process and operational procedures.
