This Resolution enters into force the day after its publication in the Official Gazette.
Résumé

This Resolution consisting of 4 articles and 2 Annexes establishes administrative penalties for the following activities with the purpose of protecting the living aquatic wealth and regulating fisheries (i) fishing practice by a person unauthorized from the competent authority and not registered with the register of practitioners of fishing in the Ministry of Environment and Water; (ii) not to notify the Ministry of Environment and Water of any amendment or change to the registration document, or the accompanying documents, within one month of the occurrence of the amendment or change; (iii) use a fishing boat that is not registered in the fishing boats registry and not licensed by the Ministry of Environment and Water; (iv) not to show the license and not present it upon request to the competent authorities; (v) anchor or pass by boat by areas where fishing is prohibited; (vi) fishing, trading, selling or transporting small fish according to the decisions regulating the lengths of the fish permitted to fish; (vii) dive with the aim of fishing decoration fish without license; (viii) extract oysters, sponges and coral reefs without permission; (ix) sale, possession, or circulation of nets, tools, or equipment for unauthorized fishing, or forbidden to be used; (x) pollute the marine environment; (xi) trade, sell, consume or benefit from the fish and aquatic organisms whose possession is prohibited; (xii) fishing in fertility and reproduction seasons; and (xiii) catch marine mammals of all kinds and sizes, and sea turtles, and collect their eggs.
