Résumé

This Resolution is composed of 31 articles providing for the agricultural quarantine system in Palestine. Article 1 defines some terms for the purposed of applying the provisions of this Resolution. Article 2 establishes quarantine stations in airports and marine locations to complete the procedures for quarantine on shipments of agricultural material. Article 3 sets forth the powers and duties of quarantine inspectors. Article 4 states the actions that must be taken after the Inspector’s preview on the imported consignment. Article 6 states the items which are prohibited to be imported. Article 7 prohibits the admission of shipments and agricultural products imported to the Palestinian territories if it contains any pests listed in Annex 1. The shipments and imported agricultural products from other countries can only be admitted under conditions stated in article 12. All shipments must be accompanied by a trans-shipment phytosanitary certificate (Art.27). Any provisions contradicting with the provisions of this Resolution are appealed (Article 30).
