Résumé This Regulation, consisting of 15 articles, outlines the procedure for the Competent Authority to inspect fraudulent and corrupt goods. This includes taking three samples of the seized goods for examination or analysis and informing the trader or their representative of the results. Additionally, the Minister has the authority to remove goods from the market. When counterfeit goods are seized, the Competent Authority must demonstrate the trader's violation in importing such goods. They will then proceed to destroy the seized goods, irrespective of their nature, as long as this destruction does not pose environmental or health risks. If possible and permissible, the preferred method of destruction is recycling, with the associated costs to be covered by the trader.
