Résumé

This Regulation prescribes the basic principles of radiation safety and nuclear safety when transporting materials which contain radioactive substances and in which the total and specific radioactivity is higher than that laid down in Annex 1 to this Regulation. In order to ensure the fulfilment of the requirements of this Regulation, the Radiation Safety Centre shall, in addition to the special permit (licence) or permit for activities with sources of ionising radiation, issue a document which certifies that the relevant technical design or transport complies with the requirements of the laws and regulations governing the transport of the radioactive material.
