Résumé

The present Ordinance lays down provisons relating to the protection of cattle, pigs, sheep and goats from brucellosis. Part II deals with general protective measures against brucellosis of cattle, pigs, sheep and goats. Vaccination of such animals is prohibited; however, the competent authority may make an exception for research purposes. Animals above 24 months of age must be controlled every 3 years. Article 4 contains provisions regarding the outbreak of brucellosis. Milk containers containing milk of animals suspected of brucellosis, shall be disinfected by the collecting diaries. Article 19 prescribes the requirements to declare cattle brucellosis free. The text consists of 24 articles divided into 7 chapters of wich the most important are: Definition of terms (I); Protective measures (II); Certified brucellosis free cattle (IV); Violations (IV); Final provisions (VII).
