Résumé

The present Law lays down provisions relating to the protection of nature and landscape in the Land of Bremen. With a view to conserve the environment for future generations nature and its landscape, due to its value, being such the living space of human beings, shall be protected in such a way as to secure in the long run its integrity, capability of regeneration and sustainable use, the conservation of flora and fauna including living places and spaces, as well as its beauty and recreation value. The present Law consists of 42 articles divided into 11 chapters as follows: General provisions (1); Landscape planning (2); Intervention regulations (3); Special provisions on soil erosion and transformation of barren land (4); Protection of certain parts of nature and landscape (5); Protection of varieties (6); Recreational use of nature and landscape (7); Participation of authorized nature protection associations (8); Right of pre-emption, exemptions and exceptions (9); Support of nature protection and landscape care, data processing (10); Penalties, measures of nature protection authorities (11).
