Sections 5 and 6 provide for the application for the registration of a brand. Brands shall be allotted by Registrar in accordance with section 7. A certificate of registration shall be issued. The Registrar shall publish each year a Brand Directory (sect. 9). Any proprietor may cede and transfer his right to any registered brand to any other person, in such form as may be prescribed (sect. 9).
