They enable the competent authority to charge fees for work carried out within the scope of the EU Regulation and within regulation 13 of the Biocidal Products (Appointment of Authorities and Enforcement) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2013, relating to applications for the authorisation and mutual recognition of biocidal products, the approval of active substances and other activities listed in the Schedule to these Regulations.
