The present Regulations enter into force on 6 November 1997.

Résumé

The present Regulations continue in force under the the Canadian Environmental Protection Act 1999. In particular, the Regulations lay down provisions relating to the production, sale and use of gasoline containing benzene. Section 3 establishes that no person shall sell or offer for sale gasoline that contains benzene at a concentration that exceeds 1.5% by volume. The text consists of 24 sections divided in 3 Parts and 3 Schedules.
