Additionally, the Act states that any rhinoceros killed or captured shall become the property of the State government. No person shall kill, injure, capture, or attempt to kill, injure or capture a wild rhinoceros, unless: a) in defense of himself or some other person; or b) with the permission of the State Government given in license issued under rules to be made in this behalf by the State Government.
