Résumé: This Act allows the Minister, with the approval of Parliament, to provide guarantee for the payment of principal and interests necessary for the redemption of bonds issued for the financing of the sugar industry. The Act also establishes the Sugar Industry Revitalisation Fund. Monies raised from bonds shall be paid into the Fund. The Fund shall be used by the Barbados Agricultural Management Co. Ltd. to finance operations of the sugar industry.
