Résumé

The present Regulation lays down provisions relating to a plan for the growing and marketing of apples. At the outset the Regulation contains a definition clause relating to various terms employed therein, such as “apple”, “board member”, “district”, “producer”, etc. Article 3 establishes that a local board, to be known, as The Ontario Apple Growers shall be set up in accordance with this Regulation. The main tasks of the local board are to control and regulate the producing and marketing of apples within Ontario. To ensure elections to the local board and to the District Apple Producers’ Committee, the apple growing districts listed in section 6 are established. Section 8 rules that on or before December 31 of each year, the district group members of an apple growing district shall elect a District Apple Producers’ Committee. The text consists of 11 sections.
