Regulation 2 introduces an obligation to give notice of diseased animals or suspicion of diseased animals, and imposes a similar duty on veterinary surgeons. Where the Chief Agricultural Officer receives such information or has reasonable grounds for suspecting that anthrax exists on any premises, he or she shall forthwith cause a notice in the Form A in the Schedule to these Regulations to be served on the occupier of any premises whereon such animal is or with respect to which such suspicion exists. The suspected place shall be immediately inspected by an inspector and shall be kept in quarantine. It shall be unlawful to move any animal out the place of the suspected out break except where the movement id authorized by an inspector. Milk obtained from diseased animals shall not to be used as food for man or other animals. Diseased animals shall be disposed of according to regulations 6 to 8.
