Such animals shall be earmarked with marks registered with the Chief Agricultural and Natural Resources Officer. The lawful owner or occupier of the land may demand a penalty from the owner of the illegally trespassing animals and certain trespassing animals may be killed or may be impounded in a private or public pound.
