Sujet Bétail, Alimentation et nutrition Mot clé Viande Commerce international Autorisation/permis Santé des animaux Parasites/maladies Reproduction des animaux Aliments pour animaux Aire géographique Afrique, Afrique Orientale, Nations en développement sans littoral, Pays les moins avances Résumé These Regulations, made by the Minister under sections 21 and 22(f) of the Animal Diseases Act, lifts the general ban on importation of livestock, livestock products or by-products imposed by S.I No. 3 of 1997, but prohibits the importation of: (a) bovines; (b) bovine embryos, ova and semen; (c) fresh meat, meat products and other meat preparations from cattle; or (d) ruminant derived protein feeds, bone and meat meal, from a country which is not free from Bovine spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE) or a country which does not comply with specified guidelines for the prevention of BSE.
