Section 2 prohibits the sale of any preparation used to destroy pests or micro-organisms, without a registration certificate. Sections 3 to 5 give detailed information about the necessary procedures to request a registration certificate. Sections 6 and 7 empowers the Director of the Veterinary Services to have any preparation tested and to establish terms for a preparation's approval. Sections 8 and 9 allow the Director to refuse registration; they also allow appeal by applicants against the refusal to register. Pursuant to section 10 the Director may temporarily register the preparation or cancel it after giving full explanations. Sections 11 to 13 entitle the Authority to grant a registration certificate and include the preparation in the register. Sections 14 and 15 establish terms and conditions concerning validity, renewal and cancellation of the registration certificate. Specific features for packing labels may be required by the Authority (sects. 16 and 17). Preparations need to be sold in their original packing (sect. 18) and advertising is subject to the Authority's recommendation. Section 20 refers to fees established to register a preparation. The Addendum establishes marking of preparations in case of poisonous substances. Texte intégral Anglais Références - Législation Implemente Animal Diseases Ordinance (New Version) 1985.
