They require holders of animals to carry out certain precautions so as to prevent animals diseases and pests such as impoundment, treatment for control of cattle ticks, treatment for the control of rabies, isolation of animals diseased with a notifiable disease, etc. Furthermore, the Regulation concerns the declaration of quarantine areas by an Inspector and the restriction of contact with or movement of diseased animals and the movement of animals from or to or within a Disease Area declared as such under the Act.
