Résumé The present Regulation lays down provisions relating to lamb producers. For the purpose of the Regulation “producer” means a person who (i) owns a sheep, or (ii) sells wool that is sheared from sheep owned by that person. Section 2 establishes that a service charge for each sheep is payable to the Alberta Lamb Producers Commission by every producer. The text – consisting of 15 sections – deals with the following aspects: definitions, service charge, payment of sheep service charge, payment of wool service charge, dealer service charge duties, recovery of the service charge, interest, use of funds, information and legal action.
