In compliance with the ongoing regulatory review initiative, this Regulation must be reviewed on or before 28 February 2017. Résumé The present Regulation lays down provisions relating to the establishment of a Plan administered by the Alberta Sheep and Wool Commission. The purposes of this Plan are: a) to provide for the initiation, support or conduct of programs for stimulating, increasing and improving the economic well-being of the sheep and wool industry in Alberta; b) to provide for the initiation, support or conduct of studies and research in connection with production, processing and marketing; c) to provide assistance in the education of producers and dealers; d) to provide for the initiation, support or conduct of promotional activities in respect of the production, marketing and processing; e) to provide funds to any organization for programs that have objectives similar to those of the Commission.
