Résumé This Regulation consists of 41 sections divided in 3 Parts. It amends and continues, under the name of Alberta Fresh Vegetables Producers' Plan, the Alberta Fresh Vegetable Marketing Plan of 1974. The purpose of the plan is to encourage the development of a globally competitive industry through the accomplishment of, among others, the licensing of producers and brokers, the promotion of cooperative marketing structures and the establishment and maintenance of minimum price or prices of the regulated products (sect. 7). The Plan is managed by the Alberta Fresh Vegetable Producers (which continues the Alberta Fresh Vegetable Marketing Board) and Part 2 of the Regulation is dedicated to the operation of this board.
