Résumé The Minister may, under section 2, declare any animal, bird, insect, plant or disease that is destroying or harming or is likely to destroy or harm any land, livestock or property to be a nuisance or pest in the sense of this Act, provided that "animal" or bird does not include big game, a bird of prey, a game bird, or an endangered animal, as defined in the Wildlife Act. Other powers of the Minister in relation with pests are specified in section 3. An owner or occupant of land may prevent the establishment of, control or destroy a nuisance on land he owns or occupies and shall take measures to fight pests specified in section 4.
