Résumé The Act ratifies drainage and other waterworks necessary to improve the agricultural and sanitary conditions of certain areas in the country. The collector shall consider proposals for improvements and approve or reject them. If a proposal is approved, then the collector will notify local authorities or appointed individuals of the incoming operations. Appeals against the undertaking of these operations must be addressed to the commissioner within thirty days from the order of execution and its decision shall be final. Compensation for damages due to the operations shall be evaluated and granted as per article 26. The operations, included in the approved projects, and the land involved will be under the responsibility of the Government by mean of the Collector or any other individual who shall be appointed under this Act.
