"Biological pesticides” are preparations made from naturally occurring organisms used for the treatment of plants or plant populations for the control of plant diseases, pests or weeds or growth regulation. The section sets out prerequisites for a decision by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry to grant to landowners the faculty to combat diseases affecting plants by spraying biological agents from the air in such manners as approved by the Ministry and at own expense. The Ministry shall take its decision on recommendation of a Forestry Centre based on an application of a landowner.
