Résumé This Act, which is composed of 19 articles, lays down rules on the restriction of use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment, rights and obligations of manufacturers, importers and distributors concerning the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical equipment and electronic equipment, and technical requirements for electrical and electronic equipment. The aim is to contribute to the protection of human health and the environment. Electrical and electronic equipment placed on the market, including cables and spare parts for the repair, may not contain hazardous substances listed in Annex 1.
