Résumé This Act regulates vessel navigation. It consists of 22 articles establishing the requirements to be satisfied in order to obtain a navigation licence. This Act applies to ship-owners, navigation entities and foreign vessels, (except to military, fishing, research and recreational vessels). It also specifies regimes of navigation, conditions for flying the national flag and different types of cartering. It also prescribes controls to be carried out by competent authorities and sanctions to be paid by offenders.
