When examining the proposal to extend Kakadu National Park (Australia), the Committee recognised that there were no indications in the "Operational Guidelines" for States Parties in proposing extensions to sites inscribed on the World Heritage List. The Committee therefore requested the Secretariat to incorporate such indications, particularly concerning the documentation to be made available to enable the Bureau and the Committee to examine such proposals.
