XII/3: To note with appreciation the work done by the Implementation Committee in the year 2000; To confirm the positions of Argentina, Bangladesh, the Czech Republic, Ecuador, Egypt and the United States of America for one further year and to select Senegal, Slovakia, Sri Lanka and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland as members of the Committee for a two-year period from 1 January 2001; To note the selection of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to serve as President and of Bangladesh to serve as Vice-President and Rapporteur of the Implementation Committee for one year effective 1 January 2001.
