Résumé
David Cooke and others challenged a coastal housing development approved by the Greeter Geelong City Council. Drawing upon Myers v. South Gippsland Shire Council (No 1) and Ronchi v. Wellington Shire Council, the Tribunal held that it would not approve developments without a coastal hazard vulnerability assessment even if the development was meritorious in all other regards.
